Glendale Chiropractic Center | Glendale, Arizona

Glendale Chiropractic CenterThe program for this high volume Chiropractic clinic called for a large waiting area in a small footprint. To accommodate the volume, overflow seating is provided in the garden courtyard. The courtyard creates a comfortable alternative environment for clients while softening the transition from parking areas to the building interior.

The glazed corner entry responds to the site by breaking through the building mass to reveal the interior waiting “atrium”. The waiting room is articulated with ceramic tGlendale Chiropractic Centerile clad columns that surround the space, and move outdoors to frame the entry volume. Daylighting design allows natural light to gently illuminate the waiting room and frameless glazing at the upper level clerestory creates a modern expression below the Mediterranean tiled roof.  Circulation between treatment rooms allows for medical staff to move from patient to patient without entering the waiting area, creating privacy for patients and maximum efficiency for turnover of the treatment rooms.
